E-Safety

The school uses eLIM’s ActiveBytes (LA Computing resources) to ensure that all children make good choices online and develop essential skills for life. Curriculum planning in PSHE also enables all children to discuss concerns in greater detail and the school also participates annually in Safer Internet Day. There is also a dedicated noticeboard for all children to refer to.

The school also has policies in e-safety, Use of pupil images, Data Protection, Data Exchange Agreement and a Freedom of Information Publication Scheme. All staff, Governors, parents and pupils also sign an Acceptable User Policy.

Each class has clear rules for safe internet use within each classroom.

Each class meets fortnightly with an e-safety assembly to discuss general issues and share class experiences.

Please contact the school if you have any concerns.
