Carroll Monthly Snapshot - October 2024

Class: Carroll Class Year: 2024 - 2025

In October, Carroll Class have done some amazing learning and I am so proud of their continued enthusiasm. As there is so much to talk about, I have found it hard to select a couple of highlights!!

Children have continued to enjoy their Science lessons all about forces. They particularly enjoyed our science investigations about water resistance by making boats in a streamline design to race in the pond. They were able to work with a partner to create boats from paper and card. Once they raced them, they evaluated why their boats worked (or didn’t work!).

Carroll Class have also had the opportunity to fly the hot air balloons they made by using a hair dryer. It was really interesting to see which balloons worked and which ones didn’t and the children we able to ask and answer scientific questions.

October has been a great month of fun and learning for Carroll Class!
