Art Events

We have been very fortunate to enter the Ilminster Arts Centre's exhibition again this year. The feedback from visitors has been so positive, discussing how creative and talented our young children are. We entered a range of pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, prints, paintings, and 3D drawings. As you can see from the photographs, the children's work is excellent! 

In other news, our art week has spread even further, and the amazing JUNK MONSTERS that were created with artist Dawn Handy were used in Yeovil Country Park's Wassailing event. The children used lots of recycled materials to make these 3D monsters, using tissue paper and paints in a wonderfully messy session with Dawn. Despite the weather, the event was a true success and the monsters did 'magically' disappear after being enchanted away with song and dance!
